Participants engage in community volunteering opportunities as part of the Day Services program. This is an important aspect of the program because community volunteering allows for participants to be engaged in their community, allows for the development of new skills, provides for a sense of achievement, introduces participants to new interests and experiences, and offers opportunities to meet a diverse range of people.
